Final Advertisement Process
This is my final advertisement design for PHO VIET.
At first, I searched for some examples of food advertisements on the Internet to get inspiration about layout, lighting, color and so on. Then I started collecting different images, such as bowl of Pho, lime, chili, mint, and tray in Pinterest to create my idea.
Then, I used Background Remover web on computer to remove background of objects I chose.
In the next step, I used Pixlr on the computer to edit and combine objects together. Firstly, I decided to use black background because it makes the food stand out and give a modern as well as professional look. The dark background also helps the bright color of noodles and beef become more attractive. After that, by copying and pasting the photo into the Pixlr, I put the tray, the Pho bowl, lime, chili and mint, respectively in the corner, to give the real image. I also changed the color and tones for bowl and other objects to hightlight the main object.

Additionally, logo is also an important element in advertising. I created my own logo on Adobe Express Logo Maker on my phone. It is really easy to make because this website has many utilities such as available logos, forms of logo and I just need to write the brand name and tagline for my product. I found a logo that look like a bowl of Pho and changed it to light pink, which is my favorite color.

Finally, Xingtu, which is the app on my phone, is used to add logo and texts like ingredient list to make image look more engaging and attract viewers. I also used the available frame of words to create highlight for brand name 'PHO VIET'.

Through this process, I learned how to control composition, color, and typography better. This project helped me improve my digital design skills and understand how to express culture through visual communication. Although my result are not excellent and I am not proficient in the process, I think I have learned a lot of things that will be useful for my future studies.

ReplyDeleteI think you still show a company logo to this advert. However it appears like a main title-we would also like to see another one smaller, in the corner- as in real life.
Instead of taking photographs of your screen, take screenshots! Or use the snipping tool on your PC.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, yes a good example of process for a first try - you have clearly thought carefully about the layout and the font suits your product. The logo is simple, but effective. A good effort!
