Individual Sequential Images
For this task, I decided to create a set of six photos that tell a small story. I wanted to show a simple and peaceful moment of making tea, and how each action changes as I move through the process. I chose this idea because I wanted to explore how sequential images can capture calm, everyday movements.
I chose to make tea because it is something I do almost every single day. Preparing a cup of tea is a small habit that helps me feel calm and focused, and it also helps me stay awake and provide energy for a long day at university. It is also a familiar part of my culture, as my often drinks tea together and uses it to welcome guests. For me making tea is not only just a routine, but it's also a peaceful moment I have everyday.
In the first photo, I am standing in the kitchen, preparing everything on the table like glass, tea bag, milk, and spoon.
In the second photo, I put the tea bag into glass.
In the third photo, I pour hot water into glass. Steam rises softly, creating a warm feealing.
In the fourth photo, I add milk. The color of the tea slowly changes, and I try to capture this changes.
In the fifth photo, I stir the tea. The spoon moves in circles, making little ripples on the surface.
Finally, in the sixth photo, I decorate the tea and enjoy my cup of tea.
I really enjoyed taking these photos because they made me notice samll actions that I usually ignore. Making tea felt relaxing, and capturing each moment helps me see the beauty of daily things.
Overall, this project helps me understand how sequential images can turn simple daity routines into meaningful stories. Even small steps, like making tea, can show rhythm, calm, and emotion through each photo.

Why choose to make tea? Is this because it is something you do regularly every day? Does it have something to do with your culture - is this a consistent part of your family's life?
