Making 3D outcomes

During week 7, I started working on the 3D model for my Barcelona apartment project using 3Ds Max. I had some problems with my 3D application not working, however, I later found a way to fix it, and it took me several days to resolve. So I started working on the 3D model over the weekend.

First, I created three rectangular panels using the box command to make the floor. Because I had previously drawn and measured them in HomeByMe, it was fairly easy for me to adjust the dimensions.

Next, I added materials for the flooring. For the bedroom and dressing room, I added wood material. For the bathroom, I poured ceramic stone flooring. To did it, I used the M command to open the materials, then used the available materials library on the computer as the main materials for the furniture in 3D.

Then, I searched for models on the internet. I selected models with the shapes I wanted, then downloaded them and imported them into 3D. However, because the colors and materials differed from my initial idea and 2D design, I used available material to change the colors and modify some of the materials in the interior.

There is the material table I'm using in 3D. It's quite complex, however, after using it many times and trying many times, I've figured out the main functions of the parts. Even so, it takes me quite a bit of time to experiment because I need to check the materials before adding them into the interior.

Next, I built the roof for the room by creating rectangular panels and then pouring the ceiling material into them.

Finally, I set the camera angles to create the image. The materials were not described in detail. Some materials had map errors that could not be fixed, resulting in them appearing incorrectly on the map and making the image unrealistic.

Because the application was initially faulty, I had to reload it. This resulted in me losing my material library, and I had to create a new panel. However, I didn't have enough time because creating materials takes a long time, so I had to use a faster method. But this resulted in my 3D model having low quality, both in terms of images and materials. I will try to improve this for future projects.
