Experiment - Further development drawing of my interior - Concept Sketches

To further develop the project, I sketched some rooms before I create my 3D images, so I could visualize the next steps I need to do. I sketched two rooms, including the master bedroom and the ensuite, using the two-point drawing technique to complete my sketches.

This time, I experimented with new colors, orange and blue, combined with basic furniture shapes to clearly highlight the characteristics of Bauhaus.

In the bathroom, I arranged the sink and bathtub next to each other, with the shower and toilet opposite the bathtub, allowing my clients to use both. This makes the bathroom layout more convenient.

In the bedroom, I put the bed in the center of this room, then added other furniture such as a dressing table and a small relaxation corner with a round table and Wassily chair.

To prevent the space from being overly colorful, I softened the bold colors with white furniture and walls.

This was the first time I try to do new experiments with interior design projects because I had never used such contrasting colors in a space before. It was also the first time I used the two-point drawing technique to draw an interior. It helped me visualize clearly what I needed to do in 3D and learn how to arrange furniture to make the space stand out more.

The reason I chose orange and blue for the furniture is to highlight the contrast in the space. Although Bauhaus style favors the use of three primary, including yellow, red, and blue colors, I wanted to change it to orange to create a warmer feel. To express the Bauhaus theme, I also wanted to focus on the combination of shapes rather than just using color, so I already reduced many pieces of furniture and kept thoes in their basic shapes like circle, square, rectangle, and triangle. Therefore, when I used orange, the contrasting color of blue, it could make the space feel smaller because the contrast would be attractive to clients, preventing the room from feeling empty.
