Project Development: Bubble Diagram Spatial Planning
To further develop my plan, I first created a sketch using a bubble diagram. I used Instagram because it's quite easy and convenient. Because this is a duplex apartment, I decided to sketch a square design with one master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, one smaller bedroom, one bathroom, one kitchen, one living room, one wroking room, and one entrance hall. On the first floor, I designed the living room opposite the kitchen, connected by the hall to create an open space. Next, I designed a large working room for clients' artistic needs. Following that, I placed a small bathroom next to the stairs, which will also serve as a shared bathroom for everyone.
On the second floor, I have arranged two bedrooms. One is the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, located to the left of the staircase. I will install glass doors in the bedroom to easily let in natural light. The smaller bedroom is to the right of the staircase and could be used by clients' children. The double-height space will be above the living room to create a sense of spaciousness. I will also install glass doors from the first to the second floor in the living room and double-height space to easily let in light and air, creating a relaxing yet modern feel to the space.

Firstly, cramming all of this into one post is not a good use of the blog - there is a lack of clarity here. You should post on your location, client and space planning separately.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, your target market should be taken more seriously this term than in your first project last term. Investigate in more depth who your potential target market might be. Now you have found your location you can begin to look at the demographics of the area and find more accurate information.
This post is below the level for a second term project.
