Checking website
In week 8, I had to re-check my website before posting the new portfolio. I had to make sure everything was working properly.
First, I had to fix the website's hyperlink because this was the website I created for 2025, so when posting the new project to the portfolio, I had to update it to 2026.
Then, I created a new page by choosing "Site page and Menu", then selecting "Blank Page" at "Add Page". To put it in my portfolio, I had to choose "Subpage". Next, I renamed it to my main project name "Dynamic Apartment". After that, I clicked "add section" to add a section in the middle to introduce the product name, completion time, and what I used to create it.
Next, I added buttons to my second project page. I made one to go back to the previous page and one to go back to the home page. I also changed the colors and sizes to match the other pages. This will make my website look more professional.
Then, in the project introduction, I added a line to separate the name and content. I wanted viewers to be able to identify the project name and its content. This would help them immediately distinguish between the project name and the content. To find the line, I went to "Decoration" and selected "Vertical Lines". Then I chose a simple one.
To prepare for submission, I needed to double-check the website on my mobile phone. Everything was working correctly, and nothing needed changing, including the 'Home Page' and 'About Me' sections.
Additionally, my tutor asked me to make some revisions to the 'About Me' section. I corrected some grammatical errors and added some ideas, such as who inspired me as the designer. Otherwise, everything is working properly.
Reviewing and revising the details on the website helped me learn how to use the website more professionally. This is important because I will later have to present my work on the portfolio for my future career. Therefore, I must always update and synchronize the details on the website, choosing which ones will attract viewers more.

We also looked at the About Me, Mobile View and updating your Contact page - mention these elements as well.
